as i was looking through facebook, i saw some pics my juniors put up.

a wave of emotions just suddenly struck me.

i miss Perth so much.

the freedom, the joy of spending time together with my friends, the independence, the nostalgia of meeting my cousins and of course the shopping.

i learnt so much in Perth. OK academic wise, i dont think any of us learnt anything. but we learnt so much life skills and we grew up there. truly.
after all, spending 3 weeks with only a group of people can be extremely daunting. you learn to hate, tolerate then love each other.

FO is tomorrow. I'm not up for it. plus haikal and hafiz go in next week for NS. I will so miss them. 8:13 PM

DnD was quite ok. some were interestingly dressed.

anyway i decided that i wont try anything. as in i wld rather just leave the thing be. i'm out of depth for this one. i seriously cant be bothered anymore. and besides, the person incharge who was supposedly close to me alr found his new friends. so i shant care any longer.

i longer hold as much sway as before. mostly because i'm not running and since i've been away for some time. due to the last few weeks of sch when i was swamped with work and with hongkong.

serious;y i'm not even bothered to go for FO now. there's just no feeling to it.

now what i want more then all is a best friend. is it too much to ask?

i cant wait for SIP to start. i wldnt mind starting work earlier. even better wld be if they send me overseas. that wld be brilliant. 9:02 AM

i'm back for a short while aft meeting kason.

the first thing he said was, wah, today you dress nicely. i was like oO. i was only wearing skinny, tshirt and a cardigan. that almost like sch uniform la. hahaha. wth.

oh and today he gave me personal treatment. lol. he said that everytime i came, confirm alot of people. then he was like,"today so many people then you come. yesterday was empty, tuesday also no one." lol. i just attract people yo.

i've been hiding quite well at home. getting ready for DnD now. ok i know its only 10.15. but there's quite alot to do.

I ransacked my cousin's, my brother's, my dad's and my wardrobe trying to find something. actually wanted to just rent but was lazy to leave the hse and go all the way to bugis.

i saw ji hoo wear this damn nice outfit. gahhh. too bad i dont have a jacket that was that hot. dang.

oh wells. now i'm off to see kason.

My final set of notes in hong kong. i really miss the beautiful place. ok minus the pollution, i love the freedom i had there. i had no restrictions there, i travelled wherever i wanted and i shopped everyday. how brilliant was that? thats like the closest i cld get to heaven on earth.

with time to spare before my marathon of events coming up, i'm thinking of my plans for next year. after all, i'm pretty much restricted this year since my parents have yet to leave singapore. this just means i'll be going to melbourne only this year. i think arnd oct, aft raya. i do have SIP and all as well which officially ends in sept.

next year, hong kong is a must for me. not sure if i cn go early in the year. cuz my mom's friend wants to bring my family to the US next year. if that happens that means my mom will again delay her leaving the country. but i'm angling for a trip closer to home. i'd rather go to japan. maybe a stop over? i want to see the sakuras bloom in tokyo or osaka. that leave the middle or end of the year. i obviouly wont go to hong kong in june since its summer and i hate the heat, ironic since i stay in singapore. which means i'll be off to melbourne then and hong kong will be at the end of the year. haha. planning all this is so simple. getting the money and having the uncertainty of it all is worse. aft all, i have no idea how NS will be for me. so it depends. the melbourne trip is confirmed. so if i have extra money or one of my other trips get cancelled, i'll go to perth as well since i wld dearly love to visit my what, 3rd home city. haha. 1st is singapore of course. 2nd now has to be melbourne even though i have yet to visit. but perth will always be one of my homes, since i've visited the place what? 8 times?

But, on the flip side, I’m freaking overjoyed with my haul for today.
Lets see, I bought myself a bag, a wallet AND a bag for Andrew. ALL FROM PORTER! BLOODY BRILLIANT!

Anyway, it was fate I tell you. I was walking arnd tsim sha tsui and I found the porter boutique. As in on its own. So I told myself it’s a sign from god that I should get a bag. HAHAHA.
Bought all of that then we also bought another 2 bags. My mom bought a bag for my dad saying that it was for their anniversary. She said it would even out since he also bought her a bag. That got me thinking, as good as porter is, it cant compare with Gucci. Tsk.
Oh and I’m a porter VIP! YAY!!!!!!!!! So I’ll be back next year and buy more stuff.
Oh and I realized that so many people here use Agnes B. like seriously. Its everywhere. Oh and they have gd skin. The person serving me at Porter had like near flawless. Seriously. And he was super nice though his English could use some work. Actually he reminded me a lot of Martin. HAHA. Eh martin, do you have a cousin working at Porter?
Oh and I also realized the people here are damn hardworking and they have gd service. Seriously. MacCafe boy works every weekday and Saturday. Like wah. And they don’t have our 5 day work week. Ok I think I’ve fallen in love with the shopping in hongkong HAHAHAHAHA. Such a huge contrast with 3 days ago when I hate it. HAHA. The only problem here is the small space, pollution and lousy internet. Ok I WILL come back here. Esp with my new Porter card ☺ 11:22 PM

Today went to both causeway bay and central. I love H&M. I cant wait for them to open in Singapore!
Oh and I’m freaking pissed my mom wont buy me the porter bag. WTH! She bought herself an LV bag and she wants to buy the Gucci one. That’s like more then ten times the price of my bag.
Times Square is huge! Oh and guess what? I’m quite gd at bargaining I realized. Hahahahahah. I was bargaining like crazy at mongkok.
Annoying! Plus, I haven’t found anything useful I can buy for D&D. DAMN IT!

I'm truly exhausted now. Yesterday my mom forced me to go to Johor and I reached home at 4am. As if i havent had enough time going 'overseas'. And now i'm feeling under the weather. wah lau, i was sweating for the first time in 7 days yesterday. unbelievable.

oh and my aunt commented that my complexion was damn gd yest. hk weather people! now its like suffering. i bet i'm gona get a pimple soon. stupid weather and at this rate i dont think my clothes will dry in time!

Well, its better now. I absolutely love the weather here. Somehow, its better then perth. Maybe because its colder.

Woke up early to go to some place called Tung Chung which is damn far. Even further then Disneyland and next to the airport. There stood the factory outlets. Ok la the prices. Not that bad, But, they had damn great shops like Burberry, Lanvin, Kate Spade and many others. Shopping haven!

Next went to Mongkok where I had a lot of fun haggling. Bought so many things la. I like ☺
Ok I don’t mind coming back to hongkong arnd this time again but next time, I’ll bring at least 1k!!!!
Oh I still haven’t found my potter bag and my high cut boots. Maybe tmr at central or causeway bay.

Well, I'm finally back. back to the harsh realities of life. I dont know but i think Hong Kong provided me with an opportunity to leave all behind and rest. its amazing how i didnt have any worries when i was there. i fully enjoyed myself, being able to shop till i drop, go out every single day and still have time to myself when my parents went shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui whilst i explore all the alleys arnd my hotel, looking for great shops and bargains( that was how i found the Porter boutique)

Now i'm back and along with it the seemingly endless problems with it. Maybe this hong kong trip showed me how much fun it can be to start afresh and keep to yourself. (but then again, i need like a hell lot of money)

but i find it difficult to do that in singapore. maybe the excess baggage and all is getting to me.

hong kong will forever be remembered by me for being such a fabulous place where i discovered more abt myself and as an avenue to get away from the harsh realties of life.

oh and i'll start by releasing a post on the first day in hk. do rmbr i wrote this on the first day itself. HAHA

So the first day is over. Ok I found something I like abt this place. The temperature is freaking awesome! Its like I think 16 degrees I loved it. But the people who went with me were all complaining abt the cold. Too bad losers. LOL.

I went arnd Tsim Sha Tsui. Wah lau its way classier then orchard. Like Cartier, Hermes, LV, D&G, Prada at every corner. I found most of the shops Nicholas was telling me abt and hello, they are way above my budget. Like one top alone was 2k. How can I shop that much with my parents arnd? Whats more, it’s a last min trip so I didn’t get to save up funds. Not that I can given that right now there so many things I have to pay for. Gahhhh.

I saved 100. So I can cut my hair when I come back but I don’t have enough for my Gucci by Gucci. Any kind angels out there?
Anyway, I realized something, there are a lot of gd looking guys here in hongkong. For the girls, I only saw like 4. Damn sad. But a lot of gd looking guys. Like the one in MacCafe just now. LOL. Actually, he looked abit like Iman, but better and not so skinny.

Oh and talking abt MacCafe, its damn cute! Bought hot choco and that guy was using a stencil so that at the end, there was the letter M surrounded by choco powder. Damn cute la.

Oh and in the end, I only bought stuff Sasa. LOL. WTH oh and Uniqolo is damn cheap and gd. Cant wait for it to open in Tamp! YAY!!!!!!! 8:16 PM

I'm extremely exhausted now. its 6.41 which means i've been at the CLK airport for more then 12 hrs and my flight only leaves at 11. Air Asia doesnt have a direct flight to S'pore so I have to transit at KL. Wah sey, if I got caught at KL then its really fated man. At least its KL and its comforting to know i can communicate with the people there properly (not like I'm having much problems here, my mom says I've started to talk like the HK people. OMG, MARTIN!) and its so near singapore and at the same time if the flight got prob can always take a train or coach back to lovely singapore. but i hope the flight will be ok.
Such a waste I cant take business class back.

Sleeping here at the airport is super uncomfortable. Its SUPER cold, i think 14 degrees( god knows why. its halfway to summer and not winter. outside its only 24 degrees)

I've missed so many people. and God, my family spent SO MUCH! my dad had to pay for everyone's hotel and air fares first and all. I'm quite sure he maxed his manhattan master plat card. thank god for Visa. I feel quite bad. But I'm happy with my haul.
At least this is cheering me up.
I finally have my Gucci by Gucci!

Oh and I realised my bag looks like Prada. HAHAHAH. The material is the same. Someone commented on that yest. even i didnt notice. Oh and that Mat boy apparently is jealous I got that bag. I didnt really know la. Honestly. I asked him if he bought any Porter bags cuz we're in HK and all and he said he didnt like Porter Int. He said he wanted to buy Head Porter. Well, I suspected just a tinge of jealousy but i just brushed it off. then I heard someone say he threw a fit cuz he wanted a bag just like mine but his mom wldnt buy for him. HAHAHAHA. Hello, if he didnt buy his Agnes B. tshirt which cost him $112, he cld have just added $100 more for a Porter bag. not mine la, but cld still buy a gd Porter bag. stupid boy.

so all thats left is to go cut hair! YAY! I'm gona book an appointment with Kason as soon as i can man. My hair is in desperate need of help.

oh and i searched high and low for Martin's wax cuz he said i cld only kinda find it at a professional saloon and guess what, I found it at Sasa. HAHHAHHAHAHAH. and Sasa is like everywhere! every street had it. seriously.

oh and the ironic thing is i'll reach singapore AFT my grandparents who went to indonesia to visit my newly born cousin. they left on tue and my family was supposed to send them to the airport since we were supposed to reach singapore the night before but now they will reach singapore before us. HAHAHAHAHAH.

i am extremely exhausted now but i cnt sleep alr. the airport is crowded again with people. how i wish i was back in singapore OR even in my own hotel room still sleeping.

Hong Kong is nothing like what i expected.

ok the airport was fine.

Culture shock. CCC is in use. Esp since this is the first time I'm in a country where I cant speak the first or 2nd language.

The Flight was not bad. I was upgraded to Business so ok la. but only the space was better then SQ, if you take out the extra space i had, i would rather go for SQ's economy then UA's business.

Airport was fine.

When i first saw hongkong, it was ok la. except it is freaking polluted.

then the hotel. I'm staying a BP international, supposedly a 5 star hotel but i swear it sucks!
the rooms are freaking tiny and there is no wireless. then for broadband, i need to pay. hello, i'm a freaking guest! so i brought alistair along with me for nothing la. stupid shit!

lets compare this to say Batam. supposedly singapore and hongkong is on par but i swear to you batam is way better then hongkong. i stayed at a 4 star hotel in batam and the room was freaking huge. PLUS, they had free wireless. so its not only free, its wireless. WTH?!

and i'm reduced to using this com at the lobby that is super old and super slow. STUPID SHIT!

what a start to the holiday. i swear if the shopping is not up to my standards, i'll brand this place worse then batam. and that says alot man!

MBA was a blast.

Had so much fun and finally council is over. No more duties for me, save to collect money frm BSC now. hahahahahahah.

Overall it was ok. Added the decor and all plus we managed to install the new committee! Huiwen was shocked when i named her the new treasurer. She's my replacement for what? 2 times alr. First was PSL in TMS and now treasurer in council. LOL

oh and half way through, exam results came out. Bloody hell I did badly. B+ for film, B's for multicam and CCC, C for radio and D for MEP.

I passed MEP, great but I didnt get an A for film. So disappointed la. seriously. worked so hard for it. now my gpa's 2.88. last sem's hard efforts were such a waste.

and mrs raimy didnt go just now. so sad. Oh but Mr Pok came back. his now the senior lecturer at ITE AMK. Plus, his grade there is the same as Mr D. The lecturers were damns hocked. HAHA
Serves them right for doing bad stuff to the mediabiz studio's guardian angel.

he came with Mrs Pok. Damn cute la he. hahahahaha. and the whole time his wife was speaking to me in mandarin. i got the gist of it so i pretended like i understood everything hahahahahahaha.

Now its worst cuz the few people who actually know all that happened are mostly not around! Grace is in Genting and now Claudine, Ella and Emilla just left for Phuket a few mins ago!!!!

There is Farhan. But i duno. cant really talk to him nowadays. there is this gap between us. And Nicolette is just not around. too busy with everything else, now that she's HGL and all.

Claudine says I should pretend as if i forgot everything. But the thing is i cant. she might be able to. but i cant.

So now I'll just countdown. technically my schedule is packed till I leave but somehow, I just dont want it to be. Maybe thats why I'm sitting at coffeebean, drinking tea all alone, pondering and thinking abt all that has happened and all that will happen.

Spent the whole day yesterday watching the Korean drama Iljimae. The whole 20 episodes. 20 freaking hours in front of alistair. LOL.

I'm gona be quite bored this week. Excos are going off tmr, grace alr left for Genting just now. And I'm quite sad that I wont be able to go for the SU succession meeting on monday cuz I'll still be in HongKong. And you know how much I like this kind of meetings where usually, there are many shotting sessions. haha.

If I'm not jet lagged then I'll join them straight after I land. See, I'm such a nice subcom. and besides the fact that the flight is 5 hrs only, i'm flying First Class!!!!!! YAY!

Sometimes I wonder how someone can understand me so well.

Yesterday, someone made me realise how much she understood me. Even without meeting me or really talking to me she knew how I felt. Amazing.

Its even more amazing when we don't really meet up, only gone out twice (both times to Orchard, God knows why) and just knew each other this sem.

Yesterday we were supposed to meet up aft her meeting. I was just annoyed with people in general who just seem so irresponsible and lazy. So I decided to just meet up with her for coffee.

When I met Emilla at Macs (together with practically a whole gang of people), she wasn't there. I text her and she told me that she cldnt make it (her curfew again) cuz she cldnt get hold of her mom. Then she apologised cuz she knew that I didnt want to meet up with so many people.

At that point I was quite stunned cuz I didnt say anything to her at all and she knew.

Oh wells. And I have no idea why but I can still remember how we first met, of all places at the lounge before going to Mensa for lunch. HAHA 8:27 PM

I'm back.
Went over to Nad's place and had ALOT of fun. The first time I could be myself for so long. I felt so free with them. Maybe cuz they have known me the longest, before all the drama and pain arrived in my world.

We took 56789 pictures in her room. I love them all.

Like what Nadiah said, we looked through old photos and took new ones.
I looked like such a geek last time! OMG!


Unfortunately Aruna, Khairul and Ain cldnt make it. Nvm. we shall meet up again!

Chalet that day was interesting. I managed to stay over for both nights. quite an impressive feat.

There has been quite alot going on since i last blogged.

1) Exams
The exams are finally over. I saw the end of MEP though I fear I might have to take a sub for the first time in my life. Lets just hope I pass. I'll be satisfied with a pass. Which just shows how much I hate the subject.

2) MBA
Its fast approaching. I'm just continuing my position of treasurer. Denise and co seem to be able to handle everything so I won't bother to help out for filming. Like what Cheryl said, they didnt ask for help so why bother?

3) Chalet
Zetten chalet was really an eye opener. Irving was drunk on the first night after drinking only one glass of vodka and he was going around acting as superman and forcing everyone to learn a super long cheer.
I spent most of the time walking around and then playing Wii at Nexo's chalet.
The highlight of the night was a group of us going to Old Changi Hospital. The worst part was the ants. My God, their bite was painful. I didn't see anything at all, God seemed to be protecting me but I know many others saw many things. Oh wells.
The next night was spent mostly walking around as well. This time, they didn't allow Irving to drink but after 1 bottle of vodka, chivas, martell and champagne, Grace and Eugene puked on the floor whilst Si Min, Douglas, Dany got extremely high.
Me? I spent the time by the beach with Kevin since the two of us went there together after work. We talked about rubbish. Haha. Oh and I gave up trying to learn mahjong. Geraldine was crazy. She played mahjong for the entire night.

Well, at least tonight should be fun. Meeting up with my dear primary school friends again, this time at Nadiah's place. We're bringing all our old photos and laugh together. Well lets hope this manages to cheer me up.

On a side note, I really need to go to HongKong soon. God knows how much I need to get away from everything. 11:31 PM
